Scoop does not associate any personally identifying information with your mobile device. No email, phone number, nothing. So you can be secure in knowing that no one except for you will know who you are on Scoop.
How it works:
- - Once you verify that you work for your company using your corporate email address, the email address is immediately deleted from our database.
- - Scoop does give the option to opt into location settings. This allows you to see where your coworkers are commenting from. This information is used solely for this purpose.
- - Since Scoop does not associate any personally identifying information with your mobile device or maintain a user identity through a username, when you switch devices or reinstall Scoop, you will not be able to access your content unless you’ve backed your Scoop data onto your iCloud account.
- - Scoop will ask you to verify your company email address every six months. We require this to make sure you are still at the company you’re logged into. Just like initial validation, the email address will be immediately disassociated with your mobile device once you’ve validated your company.
