Housing Market Heats Up in Pandemic

The stock market has remained volatile but it is nice to see a few days of green. The economy continues to show signs of improvement. Last week it was the housing market surprising to the upside, showing solid year over year growth, as low interest rates are driving high demand.

Things are likely to remain bouncy as we head into the election as the stock market does not like uncertainty and unfortunately, this election is coming with a historical amount. The market tends to lean heavily towards pricing in a worst case scenario, which is human nature; thus, a mostly orderly election with a clear winner will likely produce a market jump. Fingers crossed.
